Adding ping Servers

Adding the ping Services to WordPress : Open your WordPress dashboard and Click on Settings.Under the Writing tab find the Box labeled “Update Services”.Copy and paste the above links there.

Adding the ping Services To Windows live Writer : If you publish your Posts from Windows live Writer you may want to add the Ping Servers there as well.Navigate to  “Tools –Options” and Find “ “Ping Servers”.Copy and Paste the Links given above.

Automating the pinging process

Whenever you make a new post or page WordPress will try to notify and Ping all these Services one by one.This process may Slow down your WordPress activity for some time.In order to avoid this and be more productive you can use No Ping Wait plugin.This plugin puts the Entire process in a Queue and will automatically ping these services without causing any delays to your Work.

Autopinger and Pingomatic:Another solution would be to use the services provided by Autopinger and pingomatic. But i prefer Using the No ping wait Plugin.Blogs Hosted on Non WordPress platform may Use these Services.
