TP-Link Announced New Smart Phones Under the Brand Neffos C5

The China based Company TP-Link, which is famous for computer networking products is joined smartphone industry by announcing three smartphones under Neffos C5 brand – C5L, C5, and C5 Max. These three devices are differ in specs, being C5L entry level and C5 Max at high end. Even if you see C5 Max, the high-end device among the three has above average specs. The good thing about all these three is you can pick one among the three depending on your need.

Let’s take a quick look at what they have inside.

TP-Link Neffos C5L

TP-Link Neffos C5L is the entry level device among the three. This guy comes with 4.5 inch FWVGA IPS display (854 x 480 pixels). If you aren’t a fan of larger displays, there you go. This 480p display works nice on 4.5 screen giving you nice look, but do not expect anything crispy. Under the hood, C5L has a 1.1 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 210 SoC coupled with Adreno 304 GPU. As you can see, this isn’t the faster processor, and would deliver decent performance for average usage. Along with that, C5L comes with 1 GB RAM, 8 GB flash storage which can be expandable up to 32 GB using MicroSD and running Android Lollipop v5.1. Again, RAM and storage are work well if you don’t use bunch of apps and play high end games. But with using MicroSD, you can store multimedia stuff. The camera department also has average specs – 8 MP primary sensor with LED on the back side and 2 MP front facing camera for selfies. The good thing is this device supports 4G enabled and Dual-SIM supporting basic options such as Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-FI 802.11 b/g/n. This device has 2000 mAh battery inside which would give you nice performance as internals aren’t that much high-end. Battery is another good thing in this device.
Totally, this isn’t a fancy device and has average specs. If budget is the main concern for you and you use your device for basic purposes like Internet, and some basic apps this device would apt for you.

TP-Link Neffos C5

TP-Link Neffos C5 is second device in the series and has better specs on paper compared C5L. Unlike C5L, which had 480p display, this device has a 5 inch 720p (1280 x 720 resolution) HD IPS display. 720p display on a 5″ screen works well and give you appropriate brightness and decent viewing angles. Under the hood, C5 has has 1.3 GHz 64-bit Quad Core MediaTek MT6735 CPU coupled with Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. Running Android Lollipop v5.1, same as in C5L, this device has 2 GB RAM, 16 GB flash storage which can be expandable up to 32 GB using microSD, unlike C5L. This device wouldn’t disappoint you if you are an above average user and handles multi tasking, gaming up to some extent and HD video playback. You have more backup storage compared to C5L, so you can use this to store your favorite photos and videos. The rear camera depart is similar with C5L, but with the ability to record 1080p FHD video. The font camera is got bumped up to 5 MP in this device so you would be satisfied with the camera and video department with this device compared to it’s little brother. With same connectivity options as in C5L, C5 has slightly higher battery – 2200 mAh.

TP-Link Neffos C5 Max

TP-Link Neffos C5 Max is the big brother of all the three with high-end specs. C5 Max has a 5.5″ FHD IPS display (1920×1080 resolution). For a 5.5 inch screen , 1080p display would give you great touch sensitivity, appropriate brightness, color contrast and viewing angles. If you are a fan of big HD displays, this device is for you. Under the hood, this device features a 1.3GHz 64-bit Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 SoC coupled with Mali-T720 MP3 GPU. Running Android v5.1, C5 Max has similar RAM and Storage. So, the performance would get improved, if you compare that two, due to octa core processor and this device would handle better multi tasking , gaming and stuff. Coming to camera department, C5 Max has a 13 MP primary camera with 1080p FHD video recording which is an improvement compared to C5 and 5 MP font facing shooter, same as C5. Again, this camera would give you better shots compared to it’s other small brothers with it’s more pixels. The connectivity options are similar with C5 and C5L but this device has a high battery – 3045 mAh battery which would give you more back up time.
