Micromax, one of the best Indian mobile manufacturers, has launched yet another Android mobile, which is called Micromax Bolt Selfie. As the name says, this mobile is designed for mobile photographers and mainly for selfie maniacs. This mobile is priced at Rs. 4999 and it is going to be sold via the top most ecommerce website of India, Flipkart. This time, Micromax has made plenty of changes in order to get attention of entry-level Android mobile buyers and they are pretty much successful as they have successfully released Micromax Selfie Bolt at such a low price, which is equipped with so many good and useful features.

First thing first, the design of this mobile is ok but not up to the mark. Although, it comes with a metallic finish. It has only one color combination i.e. Angelic White. It looks pretty good but as said before, it is not up to the mark. It looks professional but not 100%. However, you can find all the camera and sensors on the front side along with three semi-physical buttons. On the back side, there is camera, flash and speakers. The dimension of this mobile is not huge but still it is reasonable.

Talking about the display, you will get 4.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The color depth of this display is 16M and the pixel density is 218PPI. This is meaningless to mention that multi-touch is supported by this display. On the other hand, you can find MediaTek MT6735 SoC. MediaTek chipsets have become very common among Micromax mobiles as it runs pretty well. At the same time, you will get 1GHz Quad-core processor. Although, the processor is not up to the mark for a mobile maniac but it is ok by considering the price. The graphics should be fine as well as it features Mali T720 GPU.

The most interesting thing about this Micromax mobile is RAM. Generally, Micromax included 512MB RAM in entry-level mobiles but this time, you will get 1GB RAM. Apart from that, 8GB internal storage is also available that can be extended up to 32GB using microSD card.

The very next thing is camera. Although, it is named Bolt Selfie but don’t get too much excited as it comes with only 5MP camera on both sides. Although, Micromax’s camera is not too good but this is not bad either. You can find a good picture quality from this camera. However, some other regular features such as LED flash, geotagging, autofocus etc. are included in the read camera. Although, you cannot record 1080p video but this is possible to record 720p video at 30FPS.

Talking about the battery, you will get Li-Po 1750 mAh battery, which is capable of providing 260h of stand by time. The most interesting thing about this mobile is network. This low ranged Android mobile comes with 4G support, which is being common in India. Therefore, it would be very easy for entry-level mobile buyers to use 4G.
