According to a report of WSJ and the official documents of FCC, Xiaomi is going to hit the US market very soon. After a sensational success in India, the Chinese entry-level mobile phone maker is going to capture the US market in neat future. According to the report, Xiaomi has sold more than 3 million mobiles in India since they entered into this market, where low-cost mobiles are quite popular.

Previously, they had some issues to get FCC aka Federal Communications Commission certificate. Nonetheless, they have just got the most awaited FCC certificate to sell their new smartphone, Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro. This is mainly designed for US and it will be available at only $110.

This is probably the lowest cost Android mobile, which will be able to carry 4G LTE along with 2G and 3G. Generally, people in US need to spend a lot more money to buy a 4G powered Android mobile. However, as Redmi 2 Pro comes with GSM850/1900, they will get LTE just for $110. It supports LTE bands 2, 4 and 7.
